Today I will introduce you about Fushimi Inari Taisha (伏見稲荷大社).
This is very popular tourist spots for foregin tourists, and it has been ranked No.1 for five concective years in "the Japanese tourist rankings popular with foreginers" published by TripAdvisor.
The reason for the popularity is that there are Senbon Torii (1000 torii gates) that you can't see elsewhere. The beauty of vivid vermillion torii gates is amazed not only by foreginers but also by Japanese people.
Also, the buildings around the Taisha are colorful and very beautiful.
The Taisha is easily accessible, and you can reach the nearest station in about 5 minutes by train from Kyoto Station. It is right in front of the station.
